We provide a variety of pre-bookable clinics at the practice.
General Nursing Clinics
There are routine nursing clinics at the practice on all days of the week. These are for routine blood pressure checks, dressings, cervical smears etc. Please book appointments at reception.
Antenatal Care
Routine antenatal check-ups are undertaken by all doctors at the practice at routine intervals.
Time: All surgeries, Monday to Friday
Baby Clinic
We run clinics for vaccinations for all children up to age 5 on Mondays & Thursdays. Please be aware parental consent is required for childhood vaccinations.
Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations for all ages are available during surgery times by appointment with our nurses.
Influenza (flu) vaccinations are given to those recommended patients each year from late September onwards.
Ask at reception for further information.
Asthma
Regular check-ups and advice from practice nurses on lifestyle, inhaler techniques and medication. These appointments are available throughout the week.
Diabetes Clinic
All diabetic patients are reviewed at least once yearly. These are undertaken by our nurses at the practice throughout the week.
Warfarin clinic
All patients taking warfarin need regular monitoring. We are able to undertake this at the practice through our practice nurses. Please ask at reception
COPD (chronic obstructive airways disease)
Yearly review of all COPD patients. These are undertaken by the practice nurse and all COPD patients will be contacted in turn each year to make an appointment to see the practice nurse for a review.
Chlamydia Screening
Chlamydia is the most commonly diagnosed sexually transmitted infection (STI) in the UK, affecting both men & women. Most people who have it will have no symptons but if untreated, it can cause infertility & long-term pelvic pain. If you are sexually active and under 25 you should be tested for chlamydia annually. The test for chlamydia is simple – just one quick & painless test you can do yourself. You don’t have to be examined! Just call at the surgery to pick up your testing kit or if make an appointment to see the practice nurse.

Automatic blood pressure machine
We have an automated blood pressure machine in the waiting room. Please feel free to pop in and have your blood pressure recorded at any time that is convenient to you – no appointment necessary.
