Respiratory testing

Respiratory testing is a way of measuring how well your lungs are functioning. Spirometry and Fractional Exhaled Nitric Oxide (FeNO) are two tests that can be used to examine lung function. Please use the links below for more information on both theses tests.

Fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO)

Fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO) is a test used to diagnose asthma by measuring your breath. The test is simple and easy to do and, alongside other diagnostic tests, can tell you and your asthma team what type of asthma you have.

What is a Spirometry test?

A Spirometry test is a way of assessing how your lungs are working. This test measures the volume and speed of the air you can blow out from your lungs and will give the doctor an indication of how clear the airways are in your lungs.
