AccuRx our online triage platform

You can now submit all requests using AccuRx. It is the easiest and quickest way to contact our practice or get help from our administrative team.

Advantage of using our new triage platform

  • Convenient and simple for you to submit a request

  • You can submit requests on behalf of someone you care for, such as a relative or a child
  • Frees up our telephone lines for people that cannot get online
  • Provides clinicians with all the information they need to process a patient request
  • Ensures we can more easily prioritise requests based on clinical urgency

How to submit a request using AccuRx

  1. Click on the “Contact us online” banner at the top of our website. If you don’t have an account yet, you can click on “Register as a patient”. You will need to fill in your details and set up a password.
  2. Answer a few simple questions. For health problems, please provide as much information as possible. The more information you give us, the better we will be able to help you.
  3. Please monitor your phone, as we may send a message to you or call you. We prioritise requests based on urgency. If you miss a call from the practice, please do not call us, we will contact you again

FAQS

Can I access my medical records through the online triage platform?
No, the online triage platform is used to contact the surgery. You can access your medical records using the NHS App.

Do I have to register every time I want to submit a request?
No, once you are registered with the online triage platform, you can log in to your account to submit a new request.

Can I submit one request with multiple different queries?
No, you must select the appropriate request tile for each query. If you list multiple queries (e.g., a medication query, a health problem and an admin query) within one request, then this could introduce a delay in our response.

Can I register on behalf of a family member, or someone I care for, and use the online triage platform services on their behalf?
Yes, patients less than 16 years old, or elderly dependants can be registered by their parent/carer.

Can I request a sick note using online triage platform?
If the sick note is for less than 7 days, please use the self certification form on the government website. If the request is for a new medical concern, then select the appropriate section.
